It can be hard to know what kind of food your young baby will enjoy, so try using these specially created recipes for inspiration.
Serves 1
Boil the fusilli pasta in unsalted water until soft. Steam the broccoli and cauliflower florets and stir in with the pasta. In the meantime, make a white sauce with the milk, oil and flour, stir continuously and when smooth and thickened, add half the cheese. Stir.
Drain the pasta, broccoli and cauliflower, and place in blender. Pour over the sauce and breadcrumbs and sprinkle over the remaining grated cheese. Bake in a preheated oven for 10-15 minutes.

Mix the chickpeas together with the hummus. Chop up the lettuce, tomatoes and cucumber and serve as an open pitta bread sandwich or separately with cut up fingers.

Make the pancakes by beating together the flour, milk, egg and oil until you have a thickish batter. Add in the ham and tomato and stir well. Heat a little olive oil until hot then drop in the small portions of the batter into the oil. Once brown, turn over and cook on the other side. Serve with grated cheddar cheese.

Fry the onion, garlic and red pepper in the olive oil until soft. Using a mixing bowl, combine the sautéed vegetables together with all of the other ingredients. With floured hands, form 10 small beef hamburgers.
Fry the burgers in olive oil until brown and ensure that they are properly cooked throughout. Serve in toasted wholemeal bundy baps, with salad as garnish.
