What if your baby rejects the spoon?

• If your baby is rejecting the spoon, she may not be ready for spoon-feeds yet so you should try it again in another week.
• It doesn’t mean she doesn’t like the food, it’s just that she’s still getting used to the idea.
• She needs time to learn how to swallow, so you shouldn’t force the food into your baby’s mouth.
• Offer your baby smooth, soft and lump free food and remember if she’s full from a milk feed she may reject a spoon-feed.
